Shelagh Wooster Photography

Welcome to my photographic journal - a collection of moments captured from travels, holidays and everyday adventures.

While I enjoy photographing a wide range of subjects, my passion lies particularly in landscape photography and macro studies of flowers and insects. I am fascinated by both the grandeur of wide open spaces and the delicate intricacies found in nature's smallest details.

As I begin a new chapter in my photography, I'm setting myself the challenge of becoming more creative with my flower work. Moving beyond simply capturing what I see, I want to explore light, texture, depth and abstraction - experimenting with perspective and composition to create images that feel more expressive and interpretive. Flowers have always fascinated me in macro, but this project is about pushing those boundaries and seeing them in new and unexpected ways.

I shoot with the Olympus OM1 and my workflow is centred around Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop allowing me to refine each image while staying true to the original moment.

Thank you for visiting - I hope you enjoyed exploring these captured memories as much as I enjoyed creating them.
